Gunhand's Target Audience…

 

Our film is definitely aimed at a younger demographic than the usual Classic Western. While authentic in it’s costumes, props and setting, the story centers around a young orphaned protagonist (like Peter Parker, Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent) who possesses an exceptional physical skill.

 

In the past Westerns have been labelled as "slow". Seamless camerawork with longer takes and the use of wide angle lenses will feel familiar to a generation accustomed to playing immersive video games and watching Youtube vlogs. Although Gunhand takes place in another age we want to put today's audience right inside that world along with the characters,  an excellent example of such a mix is “the Revenant” (2015).
